Soundscape learning reflection

This term I created a soundscape on GarageBand
to help people feel the emotion in the poem I wrote.
I wanted them to feel that they were there when I was.

What  I learnt was how to record my voice and instruments.  
I learnt how to  create the mood and emotion to support the story poem or picture. The emotion I want people to feel is excited and happy.  I chose the drums because they are loud and drums for me make me excited.  I also chose the woodwind instrument because it made me feel happy.

My next step is to grow my confidence and experience creating music with a chosen feeling so eventually I could teach and help others.

Poetic memoir

Pohara was usual enough; it had 

People, tents, beach, seagulls 

And even big rocks 

I sometimes climbed on.  My cousin, my friends and I 

Did what girls do - biked around the camp, 

Enjoyed kids club all morning, jogged to the 

Beach, built sandcastles, wandered along 

The beach and played on my lilo. 

Doing nothing important.
